The Himawari (Sunflower) Festival, held every year in late July is a major summer event in Nogi Town, famous for flowers and bricks. About 300,000 sunflowers are in full bloom on the 4.3 hectare site, and there are many events to enjoy during the festival, such as a sunflower maze, pony rides, sunflower train rides, and mini live performances.
