As far as I know no factory p2000 threaded barrels were made. I use a p30 threaded barrel in mine and runs great. Factory p30 threads are 13.5x1lh. Rcm makes a aftermarket p2000 barrel in 13.5x1 and 1/2x28 that are suppose to be real nice as well.You can't put a hk11 barrel in a g3 (easily). A hk11 barrel is detachable and locks in a special trunion. If you mean take a hk11 barrel, mill a ton of it off, then re-press it in a g3 trunion, sure why not waste a few thousand dollars. 2. The TC barrels on the AW# ptr rifles,like yours are very accurate,If the flutes could be cut to the right depth. That makes it a 4 groove RH 1 in 12 twist rate which is the 'ideal' twist rate for rifles using the .308 Winchester round. Works for me.I pulled the barrel out of an HK91 for cutting/turning.
