Armscor ammo problems

I've been running my LCPII with different kinds of ammo (WWB and Underwood mostly) w/ absolutely no problems for 6 months and around 600 rounds. Yesterday bought a box of Armscor for range, had nothing but FTFeeds, stovepipes, etc. with two different mags. At the $278 price it intrigues me with its "crisp" 2.5lb flat faced trigger and its seeming reliability. After about 40 shots we had one round that was much more like a .22 Mag going off than a .22 long rifle.
