09 Traverse Stalling when Turning Right. Hello... I'm having an odd problem, of course! Lets start from the beginning. My wife's Traverse was having some issues with it hesitating and running poorly. I took it to several shops and they all said probably the timing chains are stretched/worn being it has over 250k miles on the ole girl.

Pin down the cylinders that are misfiring and swap the coils out from the cylinders that aren't misfiring. This is the easiest way to see if your problem follows the coil to the other cylinder. So my wife goes to crank our 2009 Traverse this morning and the starter engages for a few moments but the engine wont fire. I got home and tried a couple of times to get it to crank to no avail. The drain on the battery from multiple attempts had me thinking I might have a bad battery since it was the original battery ... The solution is a replacement DIC. Takes about 15 minutes to switch out. You can get it serviced online for $100-200 . and you get back your unit with your mileage. Or a new one at a dealer for hundreds + labour. In my case I was able to get a low cost replacement with similar miles.

Fan stays running for 2 min after shut off.
